What it's for
Sleep Anchor is music for relaxation and bedtime listening. It isn't a medical treatment and isn't meant to diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. If sleep problems persist, talk to a clinician.
Where to listen
- Free podcasts: Deep Sleep Music (1-hour episodes), 432 Hz (90 minutes) and Circadian Anchor, a weekly sleep-science show.
- YouTube: 2-hour sessions, twice a week.
- Spotify: Sleep Anchor tracks as music.
- Full night: Sleep Anchor Deep, 8-hour and 10-hour versions in Apple Podcasts.
On 432 Hz
Every Sleep Anchor track has an added 432 Hz binaural tone, and the 432 Hz show is named for it. Some listeners like it. There's no reliable scientific evidence that any particular frequency has health effects, and we don't claim any.
Listening safely
Keep the volume low. For babies, the American Academy of Pediatrics advises placing any sound machine as far from the baby's head as possible and using it for a short time only.
Who runs it
Sleep Anchor is made and run by Brent Burgess in California. Questions: hello@calmsleepsounds.com. If you'd like to support it, there's a Ko-fi page.
