What we collect
- Email address, only if you sign up. Our email provider, Kit, stores your address. We use it to send the monthly Sleep Anchor email, and nothing else. Kit also records whether you open the email and which links you click.
- Anonymous visit counts. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views without cookies and without identifying you. When you click a listening link (addresses starting with
/go/), we record which link it was, the page it came from, and your country. We don't record who you are. - Emails you send us. If you write to us, we keep your message so we can reply.
This site sets no cookies and uses no advertising or tracking pixels.
Third parties
- Kit (kit.com) stores subscriber emails and sends the newsletter.
- Cloudflare hosts the site and provides the anonymous analytics. Like any host, Cloudflare processes your IP address to deliver pages.
- Links to Apple Podcasts, YouTube, Spotify and Ko-fi take you to those services. Once you're there, their privacy policies apply, and they may set cookies and track you across sites.
We don't sell or rent personal information, and we don't share it for advertising.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe: use the link at the bottom of any email.
- See, correct or delete your data: to see, correct or delete the email address we hold, write to hello@calmsleepsounds.com.
Do Not Track
This site doesn't track you across other sites, so it treats every visit the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track signal.
Children
This site isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the effective date above. If a change is significant, we'll also mention it in the next email.
